I put in a marathon session today and was up 2k when I was closing all my tables. As I was closing them, e1mdopp, the fish from the previous day, sat in at one of my tables. 320 hands later, he was up $6572 on me while running 4k above expectation on our 38 all ins (we slowed it down today and only got it all in every 8.4 hands this time). So I’ve tried converting the HH’s twice at this point and the converter is screwy, and I’m not cutting and pasting them again, so cliff’s notes:
I 4bet and called it off for 200 bbs with 99 vs his KK (maybe bad, but against this guy based on what I’ve seen him get it in with I could easily be crushing his random 37s or whatever)
I reraise him with JJ, checkraise a 668 board, he jams for $1600, I call and lose to his A8 (river 8 )
I call preflop K4s, check call AKx, check/raise 4 turn, and lose to his AA
I 3bet AJo, he jams 88, I call and lose
I reraise AJ, he calls 33, I check/raise 99T figuring he’s got pure air the majority of the time, and I lose to his 33.
Lose with JJ vs his AQ
He reraises and calls it off with TJo and beats my KQ
$1775 deep he reraises I raise him with JQ on J78, turn comes a K that puts up a flush draw, he checks, I figure he’ll call it off with any pair+gutty and any turned draw, he calls my PSB with AK
I check/call him 3 streets KJ on 7TJ4K board and lose to 89.
I jam 77 over his reraise and lose to TT.
So he leaves without warning when I had him two tabling, and I’m pissed because he’s easily the biggest fish I’ve played against HU in a long time (I know I said that recently, but this guy’s way worse). I’m stuck 5kish or so and grind my way back to even when I hit a very quick downswing and am stuck 4k again. Then I get it all-in on two separate tables with QQ vs AQ and QQ vs AJ and I lose both. At the same time. Both turn cards killed me and both of them came simultaneously. So I’m stuck 6k when this fish, STAADY, sits down at 2 tables of 10/20 HU I had open.
I own him with this hand:

The first hand is suspect but he was reraising a lot and I’d just taken a big pot off him, so I figured he was probably tilt raising and he could be raising any draw and a 9, so I decided to get it in. The second hand I just have no idea why he donked out: if I have a big hand I’m stacking off anyway, if I’m not he should check to let me stab at the pot, and I’m never bluffing over his pot donk given the preflop action. I mean, I’d have gotten it in with him anyway with KK given that it’s a 4bet pot HU, so I just have no idea why the guy decided to pot it. As it is, he basically immediately left after that only slight loser, and between that and a few other tables I ended up stuck $7294 on the day.
It was just frustrating because I was up, about to quit, got stacked a bunch by a fish, climbed my way back to even, got bad beat a ton, got my way back to pretty much even, and then lost those 2 pots and got hit and run. The worst part is that as I’m about to take my $7k loss and call it a night, an FTOPs event table opens up and I realize I reged for the $200 HA (Pot limit Hold’em and PLO). I’m done for the day with playing, but I have to play this stupid tournament. So here I am, 1-tabling bored out of my mind and semi-tilted. But things were going well, and I made the money and was 3rd in chips with 64 people left when this hand came up:

We were both very deep and he’d been so passive I realized he had to have had AAxx (master Omaha hand reading, I know), and I figured my hand could outflop AAxx in a lot of ways. When that flop came, I was obviously ridiculously excited. If he has AATx even (killing my T outs) I’m still a huge favorite. But he managed to have the J, meaning that instead of crushing him, I was only 50% to win and I tie him 6% of the time. I win that pot and I’m a huge chipleader (not that that means anything with 60 players left, but I would have had a chance at getting 6th and breaking even). Anyway, now I’m in a hotel room in Europe unable to sleep because I woke up at 3 p.m. and it’s only 1:30 a.m. Sigh.
